We undertake thorough Building Surveys on both residential and commercial property. The purchase of a property whether it be Freehold or Leasehold, residential, or commercial is most likely the largest financial commitment that we make in our lifetime. Our in depth Surveys are based on extensive knowledge of building techniques and a full understanding of the construction process and extensive experience in building pathology by only Chartered Building Surveyors that have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. All of our Surveys are carefully tailored to meet individual client's needs. If the Building Survey is for a house or flat purchase in the residential market our surveys are tailored to ensure that they are fully understandable so we make a conscious effort not to over burden the report with technical wording. After all it is the purchaser who has to understand and act upon the findings of the report.
Our reports cover all building types including historic and listed buildings, residential and commercial property and reports can be tailored to include the client's own considerations as far as any future alterations or extensions may be concerned. We also undertake reports on individual building defects and building pathology and we are happy to liaise with other advisors such as Solicitors in respect of repairing covenants contained within leases. We will give fixed fee quotations over the telephone after we have discussed client's specific requirements and we are more than happy to discuss the findings of our surveys over the telephone or in person if required to do so. |
